Villa FA is located in Djibouti, Africa. We considered the courtyard life in local culture as an important determinant of design and prepared a project suitable for climatic conditions. The building, which feels like a closed box from the outside, has a transparent spatial setup overlooking the courtyard on the inside. All living spaces open to the courtyard located in the center of the house. In the plan scheme of the building, there is a living area, kitchen and garage on the ground floor, bedrooms on the first floor, and a guest room on the roof floor. Movable sunshades on the facade allow users to control daylight throughout the day and use light effectively.
