Located in Izmir Bornova, the project designed as an office structure has a singular and horizontal mass. In line with the changing needs during the construction process of the building, the employer decided that the project would be a hotel. We prepared a new project within the framework of existing structure and facade manufacturing. The hotel, which has 227 rooms in total, consists of 3 basement floors, ground floor and +7 floors. In the project, the first two floors were designed as residences and the other floors were designed as hotels. The hotel organizational chart includes the reception, lobby and social areas on the ground floor, the congress center and ballrooms on the first basement floor, the indoor pool, spa and fitness center on the second basement floor, and the technical areas on the third basement floor. The restaurant and outdoor pool serving hotel customers were designed on the first floor.

In order to provide a dynamic effect in the façade design of the project, an asymmetrical solid-empty composition was studied. Interaction with the environment was increased by using completely transparent surfaces on the ground floor. The lighting elements were hidden within the opaque panels on the facade, and a qualified night visual was obtained that was in line with the corporate identity and drew attention to the building without creating light pollution.
